So John and I bought our first home a year ago and so far have barley decorated. We figured with the one year anniversary that we would start to finally DIY some rooms! We have a loft and an office that needed some major love since we spend the most time in both rooms. One thing we learned as first time project doers that you should only pic one project at a time, haha. Which we learned was a bad idea as we decided about a month ago to DIY both rooms the same weekend. So we went to Home Depot settled on paint for each room and the style wall we wanted and got to DIY'ing. We chose a board and batten wall for the loft in a deep navy green then we went with Loomwell wall paper vinyls to add accent on the opposite wall. For the office we chose a nice peppercorn color with a nice accent design John came up with. We started a month ago and finally finished this week. DIY with a baby and life is not easy for first timers haha, but we are not dreaming of what to do in our bedroom and kitchen!
**There is still more decor we would like to add to these rooms, however in terms of the walls and designs on them, we are all finished!
***We chose the Loomwell vinyl decals because they are damage free and if we felt like changing the vibe in a few years I liked the idea of not having to paint to do it, but rather choose another set of decals or wallpaper!
